Does Medicare cover geriatric care and senior wellness visits?

Yes. Medicare covers Annual Wellness Visits, depression screenings, cognitive assessments, and many preventive services for seniors. Most geriatric care visits at Faithful Care are covered with no out-of-pocket cost through Medicare. Learn more about Medicare care at Faithful Care.

How do you help prevent falls in older adults?

We evaluate your balance, gait, vision, medications, and home environment to identify fall risks. Then we create a prevention plan that may include physical therapy referrals, medication adjustments, and home safety recommendations.

Can family members attend the appointment?

Absolutely. We encourage family members and caregivers to participate in appointments. Having a second set of ears helps everyone stay informed and aligned on the care plan, medication schedules, and follow-up needs.

When should I be concerned about memory loss in a parent?

Signs to watch for include repeating questions, difficulty with familiar tasks, getting lost in known places, and personality changes. Early screening is important because some causes of memory loss are treatable. We offer validated cognitive screening tools in our office.

Do you coordinate care with specialists and home health agencies?

Yes. We coordinate with cardiologists, neurologists, physical therapists, home health agencies, and other providers. Dr. Reve serves as the central point of contact, ensuring all your specialists are working together.
