Severe breathing, chest, consciousness, or access bleeding emergency
Call 911 for severe trouble breathing, severe chest pressure, fainting or unresponsiveness, a seizure, possible stroke signs, uncontrolled bleeding, or another life-threatening change. Follow emergency instructions for dialysis access bleeding if the kidney-care team has provided them.
Call 911. Tell emergency staff about advanced kidney disease, dialysis status, access type if applicable, and the last treatment date.
