Do joint injections hurt?

Most patients describe a brief pressure or mild sting during the injection. Dr. Reve uses local numbing agents and precise technique to minimize discomfort. Relief from joint pain often begins within 24 to 48 hours.

How long does a skin biopsy take?

A skin biopsy takes about 10 to 15 minutes in our office. After numbing the area, Dr. Reve removes a small tissue sample and sends it to pathology. Results are typically available within 5 to 7 business days.

Can I get an EKG without going to the hospital?

Yes. We perform EKG testing right in our Naples office. The test takes about 10 minutes, is completely painless, and results are available immediately. Dr. Reve reviews the results with you during your visit.

How quickly will I get my lab results?

Most routine lab results are available the same day or next business day. Dr. Reve reviews every result personally and contacts you to discuss findings. For urgent results, we call you as soon as they are ready.

Do I need a referral for in-office procedures?

No referral is needed for most in-office procedures at Faithful Care. If you are an existing patient, we can often schedule your procedure during the same visit. New patients can call to schedule a consultation first.

Does insurance cover in-office procedures?

Most in-office procedures are covered by insurance with standard copays or coinsurance. We verify your coverage before the procedure and let you know about any out-of-pocket costs in advance. We accept Original Medicare, Florida Medicaid (Sunshine Health), Humana, Aetna, and Cigna.
